Of course....that meant that for any EMS call got you a Fire truck, whether you needed one or not, but that's another story entirely. :) |
keep trying the guy. i am definatly interested in the car.

Definitely! I never see one thats almost completely intact on exterior view but unknown on motor and underbody. no rust i could see so far besides mildew on small areas. one tailpipe on drivers side dont look straight. also having old equipment and unrestored holes and antenna, thats impressive for 18-19-20 years old ssp.

Its offically an X-FHP!!!!! It is an 87 and has strobes installed and hooked up as i suspect, switches are in place. has wig wags. updated pictures on the fotki on my signature.. It was an FHP for few years then Ft. Meade PD Unit.. that explains the altered paint scheme and spotlight... bucktags are hardly visable, could see by naked eye it says Florida but covered by top bucktag, i peeked a little more, it shows special paint cream........ thats all i saw.. its a confirmed FHP unit. needs iginition switch, battery. owned it since 2001, went to 140 once, owns by the son of retired LEO of Lake county Sheriff of 43 years. Nice man.

87 FHP car is purchased.......thanks MJ for taking all the pics and making it happen !! The car needs some work but hey...don't they all??? :)
black and tan paint....tan interior.....black wheels....... :2thumbs: I will post up some pics after I get it here and give it a good bath. car has the door tag, both buc tags, cert speedo, and appears to be very solid. |
You are very welcome, Jim! :2thumbs: Yup its all intact! I nearly had an heart attack when i looked for the bucktags, its at little different position than usual bucktags position.. i think its the old position from early 80's mustangs.. usually behind the headlights but this one is screwed by radiator support area i believe and still is in nice shape so i took a long deep breath. Will watch it in the meantime. Looking forward to meeting you once again when you come over to pick it up.
