OK, lets get this straight...........This car is a Jefferson County ( Kentucky) police dept Mustang. not OSP. I have title history and records from the JCPD garage on this car.

As i stated the last 6 are 240618, not the numbers he posted. I have the vin's for all the JCPD (KY) cars, including 82's, 84's, 85's, 86's, 87's, and 90's.

Nodrama's car is not from KY. Its an OSP car. He has 2. Since you quoted his post, it looked like that's what you meant.

No I do not own a Jefferson Cty SSP.

Both my 1984 SSP cars were delivered to :

Damerow Beaverton Ford
12325 SW Canyon Road
Beaverton Oregon

number 10690 served with the Oregon State Police until it was purchased by Sherwood Oregon PD where it was in service until 1991. It was purchased at auction by Harold J. Russel of Gaston Oregon. He kept the car until I bought it from him in 2005. When he bought the car he took the original roll bar out and threw it away.

number 10689 (also delivered to Damarow Beaverton Ford in Oregon) was in service and sold 4/13/92 with 103,003 miles in Kelso WA. I traced the car back to the owner that stated it came from WSP and was an unmarked car. This car was unmarked but I have not confirmed if it was WSP. It could have been Pierce County, or any other local jursidiction but for sure it was not in service in the state of Kentucky. This car lived it's entire life in the state of WA until I brought it to Ohio.

The vin# range for the 1984 OSP, WSP, and various local agencies in the NW US were built in July and August of 1984. DSO #74-0291 included 20 vehicles, starting with 210683 to 210702. This was one DSO number and there have been several other confirmed 1984 OSP cars with several different DSO numbers (74-0017, 74-0074 and 74-0011).

Ok now that we have all that cleared up I am going to eat some pot roast.

Here is an in-service picture of 10690.

Your welcome....

The car still has the remnants of those two inch blue stripes inside both door jams.

Oh and I forgot. Props to my bud from the great state of Georgia for fixing the intake, and all the other little things, while he had it in his temporary possession ! The car runs like a sewing machine, everything works like it should in the car and it is a blast to drive. It is actually one of my favorites.
Glad I got that one back !!
