I posted in the Daily Chat thread a photo of my SSP at a Cars & Coffee in Charleston, SC, on Aug 13, 2016. Our son drove the car 620 miles from Delaware to South Carolina the previous day, and made it to the show the next morning after a quick bath (my son and the car, no doubt!). The FB group for the show posted up some photos this past week, which I thought I'd would share here.

Can you find the SSP?

Attached are two other photos taken of the car. Jack Rab did a fairly decent job placing the magnets for the show display. ;)

Yes, in the blue one Robert has a standard roll bar. In the red one he has a full partition/cage. A few years back we found 2 NOS setups from some guy that used to work for Setina.

Robert put one in his car, and I have one for my 87 WSP (which had one originally). They are unique, and rare. But...makes driving very weird. Like driving in a phone booth. Troopers used to call these car setups: "rolling coffins" - cause if you ever got sideswiped, it would be your coffin.

Do you have any shots of the cage/partition set-ups? I'd love to see that.

Hi Schaffer,

I no longer have any photos of the setup as it went with the car to a new owner. You could likely Google search the internet for PCSD Mustang or Pierce County Sheriff Mustang to see if any pics come up.

Folks used to take photos of the setup every time one of the cars would go out to a show. So I bet there are some pics floating around out there somewhere.

Best, Ryan

I guess this one is part of the way installed? Or is this what it looks like fully installed?

Found another one, so this answers my question above.

Thanks for posting those, Mike! That has to be Robert King's 1988 PCSD car. Which reminds me that I need to install the correct pinstripes on my car. All in good time!

Back in 2013 a previous owner, Buddy, got the car mentioned in the club newsletter. It's on page 6 -
