Bill,
Here is the documentation on the Wrecked 1989 GSP last posted in Georgia State Patrol Pics...

Trooper Jeff O'Kelley Badge 606

Wreck happened on June 22, 1990...

Note;
This is not the 1991 GSP 1252 660 pictured earlier in that section.

Thanks Bobby. I am jammed up at work, and this will be a busy weekend for us. I will get this one (and the other photos added) next week.

:)

Here is the new page on Perm #9243 -

Bobby, what is your understanding in terms of including the Trooper's name with the cars? In this case, I only listed his last name, in an effort to somewhat protect his identify on the internet. Having a Trooper's name matched up to a SSP is great information, but does only listing their last name go far enough to protect a Trooper's identify, in everyone's opinion? Another option would be to also list the first letter of their first name. Thoughts?

I am working closely with GSP on collecting this info (I now have all info on 1983-1992 every SSP GSP ordered). Everyone involved is really excited about this project. I do not foresee a issue as all the troopers I've encountered are very proud to have driven a Mustang... This info will be published else where also for the record. But I'd vote first initial last name for arguments sake...

Thanks to Bobby's hard work, add'l GSP information is starting to come in. Using the data obtained by Bobby, we created an Excel sheet to organize the information. To start, we grabbed a screenshot of the 1992 information, and have created the following page for one of the 1992 GSP Mustangs using the info we now have available -

Nice job, Bobby! :cool:

And here's another 1992 GSP that Bobby was able to confirm, along with a newly found in-service photo -

Thanks Bill !

You're welcome, Bobby! :)

I am amazed that this thread is now 100 pages long (depending upon your user settings, of course!). On other car forums, threads of this size are usually fluff and other useless crud. This thread is VERY MUCH tech related, and demonstrates our focus on preserving these cars. :cool:

EDIT: So who is going to be post #1000??? :)

dcompson 04-28-2015 10:19 PM

I'll post 1000, just to say thank you. Thanks bill and all the others who contributed to this work in progress.
